General Regulations
1. Name
The official name of LSLC is University of St. La Salle – Language Skills Learning Center, hereinafter referred to as LSLC.
2. Purpose
These regulations are designed to help students have a safe and successful language study experience at LSLC. LSLC continuously guides students to understand and comply with the regulations.
3. Registration Information
Registration is confirmed upon payment of a registration fee of 100,000 KRW.
The registration fee of 100,000 KRW is used for administrative costs and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
All tuition fees must be fully paid one week before departure.
4. Insurance Information
All students must have student insurance or overseas travel insurance during their study period.
LSLC is not responsible for accidents or damages caused by personal actions.
If the study period is extended, the insurance must also be extended.
Accidents occurring due to personal actions during LSLC-sponsored events are also not covered by LSLC.
5. Overnight Stay Regulations
For overnight stays on weekends and holidays, an overnight stay application must be submitted by Wednesday.
Overnight stays on weekdays are not allowed.
For holiday overnight stays, please submit the application by the Wednesday of the previous week.
Unauthorized overnight stays without submitting an application will result in penalty points and restrictions on outings and overnight stays for one week.
Overnight stays in Bacolod City are prohibited. (Resorts with accommodations are exceptions.)
6. Fingerprint Registration
All students must complete fingerprint registration upon dormitory check-in. Fingerprint recognition is required for dormitory access and is a mandatory procedure for student safety.
7. Extension of Study Period
Study extensions must be applied for at least four weeks before the end of the current period.
Payment for extensions must be completed one week before the start of the extended period.
Parents will be informed separately about the extension procedures and payment schedule.
8. Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to specific conditions and may vary depending on the timing and stage of the process. Detailed information can be obtained from the designated manager.

9. Penalty Points System
LSLC operates a 'Penalty Points System' to ensure students can study in a safe and healthy environment.
Violations will be posted on the bulletin board, penalty points will be given, and outings and overnight stays will be restricted for one week. If penalty points accumulate beyond a certain level, dismissal may occur according to school regulations, and in such cases, tuition fees will not be refunded.

10. Immediate Dismissal
For the safety and well-being of all students, LSLC reserves the right to immediately dismiss students without penalty points or warnings for the following actions:
1. Attempting to enter the dormitory after closing hours by force or causing a disturbance
2. Intentionally damaging dormitory property or facilities
3. Using abusive language or violence towards other students, causing discomfort or tension
4. Repeatedly disobeying or ignoring instructions from administrators
5. Staying in or sleeping in the opposite gender's room for an extended period (more than 1 hour)
LSLC is committed to ensuring all students can focus on their studies in a safe and positive environment.
Academic Regulations
1. Classes
1.1 If a teacher change is necessary, it can be requested at the office with a valid reason.
1.2 Make-up classes are not provided for absences or early departures.
1.3 For absences due to health reasons, a medical leave form must be completed in the dormitory; otherwise, it will be considered an unauthorized absence.
1.4 If an absence is necessary for personal reasons, the office must be informed at least one day in advance. (e.g., visiting relatives, friends, course registration, etc.)
1.5 A mandatory monthly test is conducted on the last Friday of each month. Failure to attend may result in a one-week restriction on outings and overnight stays.
1.6 Classes cannot be transferred to others.
2. Holidays
Holidays are based on Philippine legal holidays, and no classes are held on these days.
There are no make-up classes, but if holidays exceed 10% of the total class days, make-up classes will be arranged.
3. Certificate of Completion
LSLC students must meet a 90% attendance rate to receive a certificate of completion.
Certificates will not be issued to students dismissed for violating school regulations.
4. University Regulations
4.1 As a Catholic foundation school, the university has a dress code. Entry is not allowed with shorts, ripped jeans, mini skirts, sleeveless tops, or slippers.
4.2 Smoking and drinking are prohibited on campus.
4.3 Excessive physical contact is not allowed on campus.
4.4 School ID cards must be worn when entering the campus.
LSLC Dormitory Facilities
The dormitory is located about 10 minutes by car from the University of St. La Salle, ensuring no inconvenience due to commuting. Security personnel are on duty 24/7 to ensure safety, and a variety of Western, Korean, and Filipino meals are provided to carefully manage the health and nutrition of the students.

LSLC Dormitory Regulations
1. Curfew
① Sunday to Thursday: By 10 PM
② Friday, Saturday, and holidays (when there are no classes the next day): By 11 PM
※ Entry and exit are strictly managed through ID lockers, fingerprint scanners, and CCTV in the dormitory.
2. Meals
Three meals a day are provided at set times in the dormitory.
- Weekdays: Breakfast (7:00~8:30) / Lunch (11:40~13:00) / Dinner (17:40~19:00)
- Weekends and holidays: Breakfast (7:30~9:00) / Lunch (12:00~13:00) / Dinner (18:00~19:00)
3. Cleaning and Laundry
- Cleaning: Conducted regularly three times a week to maintain a pleasant environment
- Laundry: Conducted twice a week
※ Bed sheets, pillow covers, and floor towels are replaced every two weeks.
※ Discoloration or loss of items due to group laundry is not compensated.
4. Personal Items
Students must prepare their own personal items such as tissues, towels, soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.
These can be purchased at local stores if needed.
5. Electricity Charges
Electricity usage is shared among roommates and paid at the office based on the meter readings for each room.
※ Average monthly cost per person is approximately 10,000 to 30,000 KRW (depending on individual usage)
6. Security Deposit
A security deposit of $50 (or 2,500 PHP) must be deposited upon dormitory check-in.
※ The full amount will be refunded if there is no loss or damage to items at the end of the study period.
If there are any issues, only the actual cost will be deducted before refunding.
7. Personal Belongings
Valuables such as wallets, cash, mobile phones, and laptops must be stored in a locked drawer or bag.
※ LSLC is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings within the school or dormitory.
