Visa Information

LSLC is a language center affiliated with the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod, Philippines. All international students are required to obtain a Special Study Permit (SSP) as mandated by the Philippine government. The LSLC office handles visa extensions and SSP applications, allowing students to focus on their studies without dealing with complex procedures.

Students holding a South Korean passport can stay visa-free for 30 days. During this period, they must apply for an SSP through the LSLC office and extend their stay.

The SSP is a special permit for language study issued by the Philippine Immigration Bureau. All language centers in the Philippines must be officially registered to issue SSPs, and LSLC is an officially accredited institution.

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

After 30 days of arrival, you must extend your stay. LSLC will handle all visa extension processes on behalf of all students.

The first extension is for 29 days, and subsequent extensions are usually in 1 to 2-month increments. The necessary documents and fees for extensions can be obtained from the LSLC office.

The extension fee ranges from ₱4,000 to ₱8,000, depending on the length of stay.

ACR I-Card (Alien Certificate of Registration I-Card)

Foreigners staying in the Philippines for more than 59 days must apply for an ACR I-Card. This serves as an identification card for foreigners residing in the Philippines and is used for immigration and banking purposes.

📌 Note: All visa-related procedures (SSP, visa extension, ACR I-Card) are handled by the LSLC office, so students only need to submit their passports. Visa-related schedules are conducted collectively according to school announcements.
