Korean Language Class
Program Overview

This program is held four times a year (quarterly) and is designed for Filipino students enrolled at the University of St. La Salle.

It is a program where students studying at LSLC teach Korean to Filipino students using English. It provides your child with an opportunity to naturally use English while interacting with local students and making Filipino friends, offering a meaningful experience.

Program Details

Each quarter, the program selects 50 Filipino students who wish to learn Korean and about Korean culture, and 100 LSLC students who volunteer to teach them, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The program runs for four weeks, twice a week, totaling eight sessions, using pre-prepared Korean textbooks in LSLC's one-on-one classrooms.

It is structured in groups of three, with two Korean students participating with one Filipino student, allowing your child to develop teamwork, communicate in English, and experience both Korean language education and cultural exchange.

Orphanage Volunteering
Program Overview

This program is conducted four times a year (quarterly) and involves visiting an orphanage in Bacolod, Philippines, to help local children in need.

Through various forms of volunteering, students learn the value of sharing and compassion, gaining a meaningful experience that fosters valuable character and social responsibility abroad.

Program Details

This is an additional volunteer activity for LSLC students who have completed the Korean Language Class volunteering, conducted by visiting an orphanage in Bacolod City, Philippines.

Students engage in activities such as performing shows, tidying up the surroundings, and delivering necessary items to the children, conveying warmth and directly practicing the values of sharing and caring.

This volunteer work goes beyond simple English study, offering your child the opportunity to gain overseas volunteer experience and develop character.

Additionally, after completing the volunteer work, an official volunteer certificate is issued by the University of St. La Salle, which can be a valuable credential for future employment or international activities.
